Treehouse Story Time with Ms. Megan

The first and third Tuesday of the month starting at 10:30am Ms. Megan will be hosting Story Time in a treehouse at Calyx Creek Lavender & Lodging. Bring the family for a fun morning full of stories, song, activities, and of course, bubbles!

Can't make it on a Tuesday morning? We'll be hosting some Saturday story times at the library as well with featured guests like Johnson County Conservation for 'Poop Happens!' in June and Midwest Chinese Academy for our Chinese Story Time in July.

Adult Book Fair with Sidekick Coffee & Books

Please join us  at our book fair on Friday, June 12th, from 6 pm to 8 pm! If you're chasing the childhood bookfair nostalgia, this is the event for you! This fair is catered toward adults, but there will be something perfect for all ages. Whether you're shopping for yourself, picking out a gift, or donating to the library, we'll have the perfect book! Even better, you'll be supporting the library with 20% of all sales for the evening going back to the library. Check out the event on our Facebook page

BINGO Sheets

This tracker is for everyone! Work toward a BINGO (or even a black-out!) throughout the summer. Completed BINGO sheets will be entered to win the Babies, Kids or Adult prize drawing.

When you turn in your BINGO sheet kids will win a mini prize and everyone will win a book from our Prize Cart, as well as be entered into the grand prize drawing for their age group.

The final day to turn in your BINGO sheet for prize eligibility is Saturday, August 1 by 12pm. Winners of the prize drawings will be announced the following Tuesday.

Daily Fun at the Library

Guessing Jars: We will have guessing jars at the front desk in June and July. Submit an entry - 1 per day max - with your guess of how many items are in the jar. The closest guess will win the whole jar! Winners will be announced at the end of each month.

Scavenger Hunts: Families can come to the library to take on the our summer scavenger hunt! Find all of the hidden pictures on your sheet and return to the front desk for a small prize.

Winnie the Worm: A worm friend keeps getting lost in the library! Help Ms. Lauren find Winnie the Worm in the library and win a small prize. Winnie can be found once per day (per patron or group).
